Agree to Disagree , Let it Be and Rise Above !

When I was a kid growing up , sure you had bullies

that took your lunch or beat you up !

then as you get older you see things more clearly

and wonder , what was i thinking it never solved much .

Today America truly needs to  Embrace ALL our soldiers aka troops

because we're all in this  together Fighting for the same thing

protecting our families and the Freedom

God's given us by teaching us to live in peace

just because we're each Different in our own way

doesn't mean we can't learn things from each other

and bring peace as well as compassion along the way !

If we can't do that amongst ourselves ,  if your afraid of

what you read about  people choosing to be gay

Gay's don't attack you or others, they just want a chance to

Live the same Dream of Defending their country , their family ,

and what America truly means!

So when will we ever learn to agree to disagree , let it be and rise above !

I'm not here to hurt you , if anything I support you & thank you

for looking out for strangers like me , as well as your family !

And when the day comes that you run into some jackass

with backward thoughts remember God loves us all !

He's the only true judge who comes to call

and I salute you along with him , for not only

your bravery when duty calls yet i also salute you

Because your making a difference that says

Can't we agree to disagree and join as a union

to protect those we love !!!
