A mountain covered in wildflowers and the greenest grass I’ve ever known

The moon shines brightly tonight sayin   Kim, I’m in peace

because of others and you have held me in your heart for so long.

Thank you and I love you are words seldom said, yet often meant.

Cause you, Annie, had a way with animals that showed us all

the softer a voice is, the more it carries things on,

and on a rare occasion when things weren’t  going right,

I can still see you puttin’ that pencil across your lips, sayin’

“See this, Kim. We aren’t going there!!”

I lived my far off journeys of Ireland, Scotland, and Austria through you, Annie.

Mountains, as far as the eyes could see, covered in green grass.

Some with a shady tree, when you’re done kissin’ our full moon,

Shinin’ down on your loved ones tonight, sittn’ with God in Heaven,

Knowin’ Lil’Annie and Goldie are there with you, too.

It’s because of my friendship with you, I feel like an eagle, who can soar over any mountain, with grass filled with the most beautiful wild flowers,

because my friend and teacher of life, Annie, is resting in peace tonight,

yet comes to see us every full moon, as she laughs, with a smile that tells ya

“I’m with ya, no matter what. ‘Cause the moon’s my ride.
