Kiss me when i'm drunk or down as I sleep
as those would be the only times you'd catch me
without questioning why me ?
I was never big on love and romance growing up ,
sure i loved seeing guys walk around with those big stuffed animals
for their girlfriends !
Yet never dreamed I'd get one , as I was just different
liked things in ways others thought
were stupid or senseless .
For example Hugs to me spoke Volumes words sometimes couldn't
Hand written notes with a flower seemed like the lotto to me
when most begged for diamonds and gold !
Sit with me on the porch someday watching a sunset or
teach me to Dance in the rain
as you lean in and whisper dancing is just a
conversation between two people talk to me !
Love me like there's No tommorow
because the worlds promised to No One .
And just before I rub you down with massages & feelings
of passion that could light up the sky ,
like a bonfire in the distance I'd tell you
God gave me you because he knew , you were a man
of mystery that set my soul on fire from the look
in your eyes as well as the compassion
you show to All his creatures !
